Intellectual switchboard

Intellectual switchboard (ISW) is a functionally independent element of the complex of hardware and software of the node of an intellectual communication network the Pallada. ISW is intended for receiving and routing calls in networks with TDM and PTM.
ISW is based on Dialogic® software and hardware, is having a digital connecting field of 4096х4096 switching points.
ISW can be connected into networks via the following: DSS1 PRI (T1/E1), SS7, SIP, H.323.
ISW can be administered without interruption of its work even from a remote workstation.
ISW statistics shows event chronology and summarized, averaged, minimal and maximal values with flexible parameterizing for the displayed information set.

Main functions
  • Reception and calling via ISDN PRI, SS7 or VoIP channels;
  • Analysis for «A» number (CingPNum) or IP-address of the call and «B» number (CedPNum), and performing some actions depending on the analysis outcome. Analysis can be conducted during the entire call processing algorithm;
  • Transparent translation of number A or IP-address for accepted call or assigning the routed call with another acceptable number A or IP-address;
  • Calling a channel occupying a free channel or setting the call into a queue;
  • Manageable order for call processing using priorities;
  • Automatic callback initialization;
  • Call result analysis (busy, no answer, queue time-out, wrong number) and actions depending on the results;
  • Analysis of available free channel number in a called direction and its queue size;
  • Limited duration for two-sided conversations;
  • Date/time-based branching for call processing algorithm;
  • Data backup.
Additional functions

Addition of ISW hardware and software resources makes the following functions available:

  • Storing numbers (DTMF-dialing series) from the customer to call another customer;
  • Voice information output for the customer. Voice messages can be collected into sequences or in voice manus. To select necessary information the customer while the information is replayed can jump from message to message using DTMF-dialing;
  • Date-dependent voice information replay (not changing the call processing algorithm structure);
  • Numerical value synthesis - messages containing both preliminary recorded items and immediately synthesized ones. For instance, numerical information replay (like cardinal and ordinal numbers) with correspondent cases and gender of measurement unit;
  • Record for some connections as per analysis results of number A, B or IP-address;
  • CC-scripts and user-defined variables - for flexible multilevel and unlimited event processing algorithms on the basis of the user data;
  • Business interface library. Control - for control using external software;
  • Business interface library. Control and management - to control and managing application using external software.
ISW software

The ISW software includes the following main modules:

  • System core;
  • SW a operator's workstation;
  • Application to control and manage system settings;
  • Applications presenting statistical data.

The system core is run in server under MS Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 operating system. The core is implemented as an OS service and has no GUI. Its functions include interaction with computer telephony cards, running of processing algorithms, recording statistical data into the database, interaction with user applications. MS SQL Server 7.0/2000/2005 is used as a database server.
Operator's workstation monitor the system status and manages phone connections.
System settings managing and control application is used to change settings and transfer altered ones to the system core.
The display statistics application is designed compile and print reports on ISW functioning.
All applications except for the system core are designed for OS MS Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP.
