System of phone audio-conferencing and of conference call Assembly

The Assembly is the complex of hardware and software of the node of an intellectual communication network the Pallada with a subsystem of software for organization phone audio conferences.
Manufacture the Assembly was begun in 2001.
The Assembly is intended for organization phone audio conferences between subscribers of corporate telephone systems, PSTN and PSN as well.
The Assembly can have connections on SIP/H.323 or E1/T1 or SS7.
The Assembly has various variants of a design: full-program, on the base of Dialogic^® Host Media Processing, or PCI or CompactPCI.
The Assembly has an opportunity to adapting for its concrete use - from the conference call system with one active conferee up to full audio conference with decentralized management.
There is a special modification of system for use by the telecom operators.

The basic functionalities of system:

• Possibility to organize several independent conferences;
• Up to 88 conferee in one conference in fully duplex mode ("listen-and-speak");
• Up to 2048 conferee in one conference in half-duplex mode ("listen-only");
• Preliminary preparation of composition of conferees, depending on a subject or the leader of conference;
• Business-schemes permit to customize by software the system's working mode for its concrete use, for example: "teacher - pupils", "president - senior manager - junior manager - subordinates", "peer conferees";
• Setting sequence of log-on of conferees of conference;
• Setting  restriction of quantity of simultaneously called conferees;
• Setting limitation of quantity of conferees in fully duplex mode;
• Hurriedly correcting membership of conference;
• Possibility of start-up conference collecting process with telephone set;
• Autoinformation of conferee on his connection to conference;
• Translation to conferees of the information prompt or music during the time of waiting of start of conference;
• Identification of conferee entering into a conference, by individual PIN-code;
• The registered conferee has an opportunity to enter on conference working already;
• The leader can add registered conferee to current conference  in any time;
• Management of a modes of the conferees: centralized management of the manager/leader or decentralized management of the conferees himself  (by requesting DTMF code);
• Display of mode of all conferees of conference;
• Indication of current speech activity;
• Leader of conference has an opportunity to interrupt conferee of conference who have a smaller priority;
• Opportunity of automatic restoration statuses of microphones of conferees after interrupt;
• Automatic discrimination and suppression of DTMF signals relayed to conference from conferee;
• Automatic equalization of loudness level for different conferees and assurance of audio signal quality for different conference conferees;
• Registration of all events which have arisen during a course of conference, from its beginning until ending, inclusive;
• Mechanism of adaptation of system to user's language medium.

• Start of audio conference from a telephone set;
• Scheduler of conferences;
• Digital record of conference;
• Storage of record of talks within a necessary time;
• Playback of the recorded talks;
• In addition to "Assembly" proggram software can be established for the notification of subscribers of a telephone network, with options:
  - «Synthesis of numerical values» - delivery of the messages which consist of synthesised part in the course of work and preliminarily recorded part as well;
  - «CC-SCRIPTS and the user variables» - for the expanded construction of multilevel and unlimited algorithms of processing of events on the basis of the data of the user;
  - «Library of external management of the notification» - for the control and management from external programs.

Conference Course Visualization:

During a conference, all workstations of conference's conferees display a name, a telephone number and (in the form of icons) an information about a status of each conference conferee:

	- Speaks	a conference conferee is in fully duplex mode (he listens to everybody and everybody listens to him) and speaks;
	- Keeps a silence	a conference conferee is in fully duplex mode and keeps a silence;
	- Listens	a conference conferee is in “listening only” mode and can listen to everybody but not may be listened by anybody;
	- Requests the floor	a conference conferee is in the “listening only” mode and asks the Conference Leader to give him a permission to speak or (in centralized conference management mode) or to transfer him to fully duplex mode.
