Software package SMSGate.3

SMSGate.3 is intended for the organization of a bilateral exchange of short text messages with GSM-subscribers in Russian and English languages.
SMSGate.3 allows to organize sending and reception of a information to and from a clients; recept of questions and wishes from listeners of radio and TV etc.

SMSGate.3 supports simultaneous work with 16 polytypic devices (in any combination) and SMPP-link (each connection is considered as the separate device), provides an opportunity of connection of any number of client workplaces.

Software package SMSGate.3 includes:

• SMSGate.3 server as an NT service (OS service with no GUI) for OS Microsoft Windows NT 4.0/2000/ХР/2003 implemented. The SMSGate.3 server supports multi-user configuration.
• SMSGate.3 client is a Win32 application which can be used on any Microsoft-supported MS Windows platforms, it provides by SMS exchange with by the SMSGate.3 server.
• A set of СОМ components providing exchange protocols with supported types of GSM devices and the SMSGate.3 server.
• SMSGate.3 SDK - a software package for the developer.

SMSGate.3 supports work with GSM gates of manufacture of 2N TELEKOMUNIKACE a.s. and others, using for works with SMS a set of the AT-commands of standard GSM 7.07, for example: Siemens, SonyEricsson, Alcatel, Nokia.

SMSGate.3 server provides:

• Support for Cyrillic and Latin alphabets;
• Reception and sending SMS via database of server;
• Sending SMS messages in a batch mode from command line;
• SMS content analysis and ability to conduct predetermined actions (the actions are implemented as open-interface-based СОМ components):
  - external application call transferring to it the SMS message fields as parameters;
  - sending SQL-query to an external database with substitution into the query the SMS message fields.
• Notification for connected clients on new SMS messages;
• Ability to receive the SMS delivery confirmation message;
• Interacting via SMPP protocol with GSM operator SMS center;
• Using SMS reception rules depending on sender phone number prefix, keywords in SMS message, device used to receive the SMS message;
• SMS message delivery to rule-indicated users;
• Using SMS sending rules depending on destination phone number prefix.
• Sending SMS messages via rule-defined devices according to their priority and availability;
• Distinguishing access rules and SMS reception-sending rules.

SMSGate.3 client provides:

• Review of received and sent SMS messages according to set criteria (outgoing, incoming, within the set date range);
• Delayed new message reception;
• Creating and sending new SMS messages or forwarding SMS messages from the database on indicated phone numbers introduced either manually or selected from built-in phone directory;
• Automatic assembling of parts of several SMS messages into one for review;
• Entering of messages with size up to 512 Russian symbols or 1280 English symbols which being sent is automatically cut on several SMS messages (up to 8);
• Sending SMS messages for a phone number group.

In SMSGate.3 SDK is included the documentation and examples of use of components of SMSGate.3 in other programs and for development additional a component as, for example, new actions or support of new devices, of services, of protocols which can be used in structure of SMSGate.3.

Versions of SMSGate.3:

• LITE - for each GSM device the registration key, unique for each device is required. Does not support some types of devices and of additional services.
• PRO - a license USB-dongle is required. The base license supports connection of unlimited quantity of devices of type GSM phone. Support of other types of devices or of services is can be carried out by means of purchase of additional licenses.
• DEMO - a demo in which there are some restrictions. For removal of restrictions it is required to get and enter a registration key of the device (version LITE) or to get and install a license USB-dongle (version PRO).
